Bitti d’lish Snap in One

Bitti d’lish Snap in One’s are super slim, quick drying all-in-two nappies with an outer of laminated minkee fabric and stay dry layer of custom milled supersoft staydry suedecloth next to baby. The absorbent material is not sewn into the ’shell’ of the nappy to prevent wicking/leaking and allows for super fast drying.
A unique snap in double booster system provides fantastic absorbency for such a trim nappy. The main bamboo/organic cotton booster snaps in at the front, folds in three and fits underneath the top booster. This top two layer bamboo/organic cotton booster is suedecloth topped, and shaped to ensure the boosters stay in place and baby’s bottom stays dry.

They are economical as well, if the shell of the nappy is not soiled, you can remove the wet boosters and snap in another set. The snaps on the boosters and nappy ‘shell’ are colour coded so you always know which booster goes where!

Currently only available in red, rockmelon, yellow, lime, royal blue and fushia. We do not have any small sizes please contact me if you are interested in size small, different colours or purchasing extra snap in booster sets.

To market, to market ……

Alipants attended our second market on Sunday and what a busy day we had. The Minilala’s showcase certainly caught the eye of most of the people that passed us by. I had quite a few people enquire if the Minlala’s were covers for disposables … and were quite startled to discover that they were in fact nappies! I had a lot of thrilled older ladies patting the nappies, I am sure that they wished MCNs were available back when terry cloth nappies were their only option. Lost of fliers were distributed and hopefully a few people were converted to the cloth side!

One of the most pleasing things for me on Sunday was that I received a lot of compliments on how professional my stall looks … many thanks to my uber talented graphics designer Kate from One Tree Hill Design. I must apologise for the poor quality of the pictures of my stall, I had packed my rather fancy camera in the morning but somehow it never made its way into my car (I intensely dislike daylight savings, I struggle to adjust .. always have .. always will and it was rather cruel for daylight savings to begin on a market day) so my only other option was my phone which as you can clearly see does not take the best photos in the world *sigh*. Forgive me please …….

I was suprised by how many cloth users came up to say hello and drool over the Minilala’s. I also had the priviledge of meeting the twin girls that are featured in the “Think outside the square” MCN advocacy brochure that the Australian Nappy Network have and their lovely mother Kate. I was really thrilled to meet them, I know that it kind of makes me cloth nappy nerd …. but so be it!

On the website front ….. Kate and I are working really hard on the website and it should be launched by the end of the month. I know that it seems like ages away but it will be worth the wait I promise.

Sorry for shouting but I am excited! Take a deep breath everyone … MiniLala’s have arrived at Alipants and they are so pretty I am completely worn out just from patting them. I have taken a quick photo of them in their temporary home ….. I know they will find a loving and caring home with you (sorry Carli my photography skills simply do not do these nappies justice). The awesome suitcase they are sitting in was a fantastic find in the back of my mum’s wardrobe; really it is the best kind of suitcase … pretty and free!!

I know that you are all eager to see these beauties for yourselves and there are several ways that you can make that happen. You can email me to book a consultation in the comfort of your own home (I will even bake a few sweet treats) OR you can find me at the Kids in Mind Market this Sunday in beautiful Gisborne. This is a new market (this Sunday is the first in fact) and you will find both new, pre-loved items for children and of course Alipants. And if that is not enough of an incentive the Kids in Mind market is adjacent to the ever popular Gisborne Olde time craft market which has about 220 fabulous stalls including our friends Eco Toys.

Gisborne is a 40 minute drive from Melbourne on the Calder freeway and boasts some mighty fine cafes and even has a pub with a large indoor play area for the kids. The weatherman is predicting a lovely sunny spring day this Sunday, so bring the family for a lovely day out.

Looky what I just received in my email! Booroi is an Australian company that designs and produces the most wonderful bamboo prefolds and is run by the exceptionally talented Kate and Sam.

The exciting news is that they are adding some funky new covers to their already funky range. These are not the official photos, but Kate being the generous soul that she is, did mention that we could use these pics . Aren’t they just gorgeous? No official word on when they will be released, but I think you can safely assume that it will not be too far away now! Enjoy

I am also hoping to hear some very exciting news from another nappy manufacturer today, I will be straight back here when I do!

Mini LaLa – Pocket nappies

Minilala nappies are the ultimate in pretty nappies! As well as being absolutely gorgeous, they are trim-fitting, easy to use, and absorbent.
The Minilala one-size-fits-most pocket nappies are made with beautiful designer fabrics, and have a hidden waterproof PUL (polyurethane laminate) layer, making them easy and fuss-free (no pins or covers required). Just pop the inserts in, and away you go! They snap down to fit from birth through to toilet training, so are wonderfully cost effective.

Itti B’itti All in One nappy

With a luxuriously silky and soft waterproof outer, bitti d’lish are made for showing off! bitti d’lish All in Ones are super slim, ‘true’ All In One nappies. Microfibre and bamboo boosters are sewn into the nappy for the ease and convenience of a one-piece design, no folding, stuffing or snapping in – just put straight on.

An outer of beautifully soft minkee fabric, which is waterproof and breathable and keeps looking great wash after wash
Lined with custom milled supersoft suedecloth to keep baby dry and comfortable
A contoured three layer, super absorbent microfibre booster is sewn into the body of the nappy and a two layer bamboo/organic cotton ‘flap’ booster, topped with stay-dry suedecloth is sewn into the back of the nappy allowing for fast drying.
Snaps on the flap booster allow for a bitti d’lish microfibre or bamboo snap on mini booster to be added, which increases absorbency for heavy wetters, or for extended wear/naps. Snap on boosters can be snapped with a single snap at the front and folded in half giving extra absorbency for boys and tummy sleepers.
