Terms and Conditions of Sale
Alipants will not accept returned nappies if you have ordered the wrong size, colour or the nappy is not a good fit for your child. It is strongly recommended that you take advantage of our in home demonstrations where you will be able to see and try the nappy on your child prior to placing an order. Please discuss any specific requests that you may have at the time of booking your demonstration.
Demonstration stock is strictly not for sale unless an item has been specifically ordered in for you to inspect prior to placing an order. If this is the case full recommended retail price still applies to the item.
Alipants at this stage does not carry large amounts of stock and some nappies may need to be ordered in for you once you order them. Orders for nappies will not be placed with the supplying companies until Alipants has received full payment for the goods, including postage if applicable. Once full payment has been received an order for your goods will be placed within 24 hours.
Faulty goods will be replaced or refunded at the discretion of our suppliers. If you receive what you believe is a faulty product please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the goods to discuss the nature of the fault. The nappy must be returned to alipants within 7 days in order to receive the replacement or refund. The nappies will need to be returned unwashed and unworn.
Please do not return items without contacting Alipants first. If you simply return a nappy without discussing it with us first you may be refunded eighty percent of your purchase price (excluding postage) at the discretion of Alipants however, a refund is not guaranteed in this situation.
Many of our suppliers do provide a 6 month guarantee on their products and will repair, exchange or refund faulty products at their discretion. If any problems do arise please contact Alipants in the first instance and we will work with you and the company to resolve the issue. However, please be aware that the warranties that our suppliers provide will be void if you do not care for the nappies as they have set out. You will receive care instructions from each company with each order that you place through Alipants.
A refund will not be provided for postage costs or any costs associated with returning the nappy to Alipants. If you choose to accept a replacement nappy from the same company this will be delivered to you free of charge.
Alipants respects your privacy and as such your personal details will not be shared with any third parties unless we are required to do so by law.
Occasionally Alipants may have some used nappies available for sale. These nappies are returns from our “3 week in home trial”. The nappies are washed and sanitised by Alipants prior to listing them for sale, they will also be sold at 20% off recommended retail price. It is the responsibility of Alipants to ensure that the customer is fully aware that the nappy has been previously worn and washed. Customers are welcome to inspect and try on the items prior to sale. Once the sale has been made the same terms and conditions apply to the nappy as they do for a brand new nappy.
Terms and conditions 3 week in home trial
The 3 week in home trial can only be ordered once you have had an in home consultation with alipants. During the in home consultation we will discuss each nappy system and help you tailor your own trial nappy package
In this trial you are buying the nappies outright and as such you will not receive your in home trial package until Alipants has received the full payment for the nappies (including delivery costs where applicable).
The 3 week trial period commences from the first day that you receive the nappy package. You are able to return any of the nappies during this period to receive 70% of the purchase price.
If you wish to extend the trial period beyond 3 weeks you are able to do so. For each week that you extend the trial, the refund amount is reduced by 10%. Please email us at least 3 days before your trial period ends to request an extension.
If you do not apply for an extension and you return any nappies in the week after your trial period has expired you will receive a 50% refund. Any nappies that have not been returned within four weeks after your trial has commenced will be considered sold and the normal terms and conditions apply.
No refund will be given on delivery costs or any additional costs associated with returning the nappies to Alipants. You are able to return the nappies to Alipants in Sunbury.
Any nappies that you wish to return must be washed and dried before being returned. Any nappies that are returned to alipants in what we consider to be an unsuitable condition (ie not washed, stained etc) will only be entitled to a 30% refund of your purchase price. If the nappies have been damaged then you are not entitled to a refund.
All nappy packages will come with your choice of either biodegradable liners or micro fleece liners, please be aware that you can not opt not to have liners. If you do not provide us with your preference then you will automatically receive the biodegradable liners. We ask that you use the liners during the three week trial, even if you are not planning on using liners if you continue with the nappies. The use of the liners will help to ensure the nappies stay in top condition during the trial. You will not receive a refund for any liners, even if you choose to return them to Alipants.
